st.mark's church, gillingham, kent

view from s.e. of the big brick church built by st.aubyn in 1864-6; odd that he didn't run the roof line in as one, and although tough for him, the promise of the powerful apse isn't really fulfilled in the weaker nave. a nice big porch tower would have helped, but money ran out.
