st. martin's church, wareham, dorset

t.e.lawrence, aka lawrence of arabia, + 1935, has an effigy here by eric kennington, though he is buried at moreton. salisbury cathedral refused to house it: it would be better at moreton really. the carving on the bottom of his feet is of two bulls clashing horns together.
