I don't see why the closure of the Forth Road Bridge would impinge significantly on you plans, since general traffic (cars and HGVs) are not allowed to use this bridge. I sometimes cross the bridge on the bus, and the traffic is quite light compared to the heavy volume experienced before the opening of the Queen's Crossing Assuming the Queen's Crossing, the Kincardine Bridge and the Clackmannan Bridge (known locally as 'The Wee Coonty Brdige') were all open, I should have thought crossing the Forth would be a dawdle.
Despite having been in St Andrews hundred of times, I haven't photographed 'The Himalayas'. I must rectify this soon.
