In the East of Scotland we spell this as 'bunnet', and it's no a true bunnet as it has a brim. Do you have a tartan, Joe? Mine is the Scott tartan and it's mostly red with some strands of green. I don't have anything that is made of it.

Here in the West of Scotland, a "bunnit" usually refers to a man's flat cap, which has a brim.

My tartan, Amelia is the MacNaughton. I have MacNaughton-Tartan tie.
