I saw your comment on Philippe's picture about seeing The Kinks in 1973 Joe. My father took me and two cousins to see them in The Winter Gardens in Bouremouth in 1963. I was only just 12 but it was so exciting and I still have the programme. The Hollies and Dave Clarke 5 were also performing. Happy days! Cheers, Rosa.

I saw the Kinks at the White City, Rosa. I heard Ray Davies announce his retirement. Then, of course, he didn't retire. I haven't listened to The Hollies for decades, but I do still listen to the Dave Clark Five.
