Das ist ja ein ausgezeichneter Schuss, Volker.
Direkt mit einer Bestäuberin.
Drei Pflanzen habe ich gezogen. Die Büten lassen auf sich warten. Falls, werden sie gelbe Früchte tragen.
Freundliche Grüße und eine erholsame Woche

Oh my...would you just look at that hoverfly! Nice timing within the gorgeous zucchini blossom! How I adore squash blossoms, aren't they just amazing? I remember the first time I saw one as an adult...I didn't know what it was, except that it was so LOVELY AND ENORMOUS! They are really spectacular and the macro details are fabulous too. A fine photography subject!

Thank you for telling me about your biting insect story--aren't they just awful! And yes, I am very happy that Steve and I were not bled dry on the trail! Steve was saying that we must not stop because we will be quickly inundated by mosquitoes and all that will be left are a pair of dried up husks! LOL, he even went on to say that he suspected that the reason we didn't see any hikers was because they have all been killed by the mosquitoes and their dried husks dragged off the trail so the next unsuspecting hikers won't be scared away and can be eaten when they stop for a break! :D :D LOLOL...

Hmm, Zucchini! Mag ich gerne, aber ich weiß auch, wie verzweifelt manche Gärtner bei Zucchinischwemme ihre Monster loszuwerden versuchen, weil sie zu lange mit der Ernte gewartet haben;-)
