Loplop

Not so lucky today with the gravures. This was the best but still too faint. But, I learned a lot! Ah, Loplop was Max Ernst's alter ego as bird. He appeared magically on one of my blob paintings and I tried to make the intaglio based on it.

I always find the tinted matrix almost better than the prints. The matrix is on a tetra-pack.

Babalú

Another trial in the intaglio learning curve. This time I used water soluble ink and moistened the paper with a wipe that I think has some alcohol that forced the ink to the paper because it came very neat compared to others. The matrix was on tetra-pack as well.
