I think the fact that both had been previously married pretty much ruled it out in those days

My parents' wedding was the previous year and, although it was a white wedding in church, the guests clothes were similar to those in this delightful period group. Thank you for sharing it.
I realized when posting my grandparents' photo that not only would my parents' wedding fall within the 'Vintage' period, but our own wedding in 1971, would have done so too!

Yes, being forced to submit several photos from my childhood here is part of my denial-corrective therapy (DCT). Admitting to vintage status is the first step to acceptance. :) I also use a rubber band on my wrist, which I snap whenever I get the urge to make flirtatious comments to young waitresses.
