Got to the bottom of Rjúpnafell again just moments before it suddenly started to rain.

Not sure, but I think the stretch of riverbank to the right is where I nearly drowned myself the day before. Can't quite see the actual spot from Rjúpnafell.I think the spot at dead center is as far as I could go upriver.
