Road Trip: Day 6

Making dinner before the only miserable night of camping on the whole trip.

This was the only night during which it really got cold (guessing the low-40s), plus it was exceptionally windy (note the position of the truck, and the rocks stacked around my tent as a sad and largely ineffective windbreak). On top of this, the wind picked up fines from the surrounding landscape and blew them through the mesh of my tent -- I woke up several times during the night to find everything in my tent (myself included) covered with a thin and exceptionally unpleasant layer of talc-like grit.
