Very early in my railway modelling career! The craggy bits of landscape to the left of the scene were actually bits of concrete from the rockery in the garden. The tinplate station building, just below my hand, was at that point over 30years old, as it was part of my Dad's childhood Bing train set.

Phil Sutters club has replied to StoneRoad2013 clubAlthough the trains have been superceded by more detailed and more technically advanced models, the Airfix kits from which I built the other station building and the detached house, station lamp-posts, loading gauges and fencing, are still being sold and used today.
