Red-eared Slider East Blatchington Pond 4 6 2022

Red-eared Slider East Blatchington Pond 4 6 2022
This has been a regular visitor or maybe resident for several years. There were two one year. They are a non-native invasive species that has reportedly caused major wild-life loss in ponds around the country. They are generally dumped pets, bought when the cartoon Ninja Turtles were all the rage, then they became unwanted, smelly and sometimes aggressive cast-offs.

Ernst Doro, Dimas Sequeira, sea-herdorf and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

Thanks, Dimas.
I don't know where the little creature goes during the winter, but we only see it when it is a nice, sunny day, in Summer.
