Umbilicus rupestris - Navel wort - Saint Peter's churchyard - June 2021

Umbilicus rupestris - Navel wort - Saint Peter's churchyard - June 2021
I only noticed this plant and about twenty more of the same species on a southwest-facing flint wall recently. According to our local wildlife group, they are not usually found this far east, on the south coast of England. They do not seem to have a very long life-span as they had shrivelled up by the beginning of July. I must look out for them next Spring.

Unusual and slightly weird, rather than pretty. Thanks for the comment.
