This started as two triangle outlines, side by side with their corners touching. They were then distorted in Photoshop Elements. A colour gradient layer was put behind them. After that it was copied and the 'transform - skew' tool used several times on the shapes and their background. So the curving shapes evolved over quite a few stages. At one point 'poster edges' were added, which gave the white lines their crisper look. Thanks for your interest and thoughtful comments.
