I like these old architectures.
They bring to mind the novels of C.Dickens, I read all in a row over a whole year (January to December 2013)

It is very much a Dickensian part of London, although there is not a lot he would recognize now.
The houses in the adjoining photo are geographically much closer to places like the Marshalsea prison, in which his father was imprisoned for debt, when Charles was twelve.
