Strangers only in-so-far as they were a small coach party, possibly a school or college group, rather than locals walking their dogs.

A view I mean to take in one of these days (I've been up there over the Seven Sisters, but fancy the view from the west)

Do you mean the view from Seaford Head www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/25919895 ?
I have walked over to Cuckmere from the Friston Pond bus stop, down via Crowlink, but not the whole of the Seven Sisters.
