RNLB 14-31 Elizabeth of Glamis Newhaven 2 11 2020

I don't know why 14-31 was at Newhaven. The usual Newhaven Lifeboat RNLB 17-21 was on station at the time. This lifeboat has mainly been stationed at Broughty Ferry in Scotland. Later, in mid-November, it was in Poole Harbour.

Strangers only in-so-far as they were a small coach party, possibly a school or college group, rather than locals walking their dogs.

'new' is a relative term. The cut, that's the channel on the right, was made in 1847!

These are two, even more grainy, images of a bird, who I may have seen previously further up the river. It shot out of the grass as I approached and I am surprised I got any photos of it. Whether it was the same bird, that I saw a couple of years ago, who knows!

The map just says 'Foxhole' and then shows symbols for a 'bunkhouse or hostel' and a camping site.

Can anyone identify the vessel on the right - 273? It looks naval from the deck down, but the superstructure is new.
