The wheel does have a lot of views and elements with photo potential. It is due to be removed when the new doughnut on a pole is erected further along the seafront on the site of the burnout West Pier. The new viewing tower is costing millions, but having been given a free ride in the Wheel, I cannot understand what people expect to see. There will be sea on one side, with a wind farm eventually. On the other side is Brighton, which really only has one distinctive building - The Royal Pavilion. The coast on either side of Brighton isn't that exciting in either direction.
