Although a service route, 13X is branded as The Tourist Trail. It runs limited stop along the A259, coast road, from Brighton to Seaford, then every stop to East Dean. After that it takes a loop round via Birling Gap and Beachy Head before returning to the A259 and Eastbourne, ending at the Pier. IIt runs Sundays only for most of the year, but between July and September it runs daily.

This Ferris wheel has now been supplanted by the i360 viewing platform on a vertical mast further to the west, along the sea front. In its location there was, when I was last there, a commercially-run zip-wire.
Changing of the Guard - London - 31.7.2014

Having arrived at about 11.10am with two smallish grandchildren, on the first train on which day-returns were valid, this is the view my camera got at full-stretch above my head! I should have remembered that you have to be there up to two hours before the ceremony starts, to get near the front.
The band in blue uniforms and with lancer style caps are from The Royal Yeomanry Regiment.
We retreated to the route to Wellington Barracks to which the Scots Guards band returned, so we saw at least some of the participants at close quarters.
