LMS 3P 4-4-0 40747 with Midland Railway clerestory brake composite


There are so many distinctive features in the background that I am sure someone can identify the location.
I am not quite sure why I hadn't connected this negative scan with the print version, already uploaded - www.flickr.com/photos/phil-seaford/5356817345/in/photostr... but I have now!
We know from that that this is 40747 at Leeds City station in 1950. I have put this on the map where the current main Leeds station is shown, but I don't know whether this was ever called 'City', which is what Dad's caption refers to.
