Soooooooooo beautiful !!

What a beauty, we have just one rare swallowtail near here ( Norfolk broads) and someone has just stolen the reed plants that contained the caterpillar of this beautiful butterfly.

Like many people, I have a fondness for swallowtails and see them a lot here in Spain. I had forgotten about the Norfolk Broads colony (assuming that they were not found so far north in Europe) and was horrified to read the report of the theft of their habitat in the Times recently. Fingers crossed that it won't do too much damage to the colony, but I fear it might..
