a non-tale ..

of the tailless squirrel ..
checking to see if we had any crumbs to spare ..
enjoying fresh fruit and homemade granola bars ..
we made sure a few crumbs of the bars fell for him ..
have seen squirrels with no tails before, but because they weren't fast enough
and a feline snatched the tail ..
but, this guy looked like it was just a stump ..
perhaps it never formed ..
he did wobble a bit and no, didn't jump into any trees ..
amazing how adapted he seemed ..
