Gulf Fritillary (Agraulis vanillae) tired and worn but still beautiful

This photo brought so many emotions out of the clear blue.

So many people and so many things past and gone... much Loss... much Gain.

One beautiful tired , weary butterfly encapsulated so much.

It may not make sense to you... I am not sure the reasoning does to me. I just know taking this photo took me through a whole world of emotion.

Stand out image, Pam. Lovely colour against the bokehed background.

I agree with your comments about 23hq and I don't think I'll be posting any more there. Very reluctantly I am posting again on Flickr but I shall also stay here until the bitter end in the vain hope that it might carry on.
