Southsea Street Art
I haven't posted any street art photos for a while so I dragged these off my hard drive.

The top image was taken in June 2024 when the outline of the work was being roughed out. The bottom image, which is the finished product was taken next time I was down that way, in August 2024.

The artist is Midge (@ this is midge).

I have family visiting at the moment so I won't be able to do any commenting until tomorrow. I'll catch up then!

Das ist ja toll,dass du beide Szenen aufnehmen hast können lieber Keith,da haben sie ein richtig tolles Kunstwerk erschaffen,ich täte mir bei sowas total schwer,wo ich anfangen täte,ich bleibe lieber beim Fotografieren,hahaha,das war toll,dass du zweimal diesen Ort aufgesucht hast,so als beginnt ein Kunstwerk :))

Ha, ha..........this building, which used to house a small shopping arcade, has been empty for years. I definitely needs something doing to it..!!

Meanwhile the street art brightens it up, just a little bit.

Excellent! You're so smart to go back after you saw them creating it. I've never seen someone in the act of making one even though we have a lot of street art in our town. Works so well as a diptych.

Southsea is full of talented street artists and the local council is very tolerant of it, mainly because it's normally of good quality. There has been a yearly Street Art Festival for a few years now, when dozens of artists from all over the world are invited to come and make their art.
