Feeding Frenzy..!!

Oh,da geht es ja richtig rund lieber Keith,da kommst du ja fast mit den Füttern nicht nach,aber das Leben an deiner Futterstation hat mir sehr gut gefallen,ich hoffe auch,dass sie als Belohnung ab und zu mal Model stehen,hast du sehr schön aufgenommen :))

Thank you for your very kind comments Anton...........I'm flattered. I spent a lot of time away from home while I was working, but now I'm retired I have time to do things such as feed the birds :-))

Above the feeder you can see in the video I have five other feeders hanging.......with fat cakes, fat balls, peanuts etc. I have to starve myself to feed them :-)))

There are plenty of other feeders available, but the pigeons always fight over this one because it's the easiest one to get seed from! I think they're just naturally greedy birds.

Wow, they make quick work of devouring the seeds here with so many birds. A great little video that paints the picture well. As you know, we too feed our birds and have from two to four pigeons as well as a pair of collar doves but as we have no table they just fly to the ground below the two hanging feeders and gather the thrown seeds by the many gold finches at present. - I do find pigeons are particularly messy. - Well done.

I have this one feeding tray for the pigeons and other larger birds (and occasionally squirrels).........but I also have various other feeders hanging up in the garden for the smaller birds. Glad you like this short video........and thanks for visiting.

I feed birds too, my problem are gulls, the big greedy predators here, so I put the food for small birds in a way gulls can’t get it !

I'm pleased you like this video Isabel.............we get the occasional gull in the garden, but our other visitors are mainly magpies, jackdaws, starlings and crows (and squirrels of course).

We do get some small birds, but mainly later in the day once the bigger ones have eaten.
