Sheltering from the Rain (+PiPs)

Love the lighting in this one. Being shot from the side shows the leaning of the headstones that you wouldn't see in a front view. Great job.

Das mit dem Regen kommt sehr schön rüber in deinen Hauptbild lieber Keith,aber auch das Licht war da am Friedhof auch sehr schön,wird wahrscheinlich nicht so viel geschaut werden,auf ein paar Gräber,weil die Grabsteine alle so schief drinnen sind,diese Gedenkmale in deinen Pips sind aber wunderschön :))

Glad you like these images Güni...........the weather wasn't great, so I was lucky to get a few photos that I liked.

It's a very old cemetery, which is why a lot of the gravestones and statues are crooked and damaged. A fascinating place to visit.

My Olympus cameras and most of the lenses I use are weatherproof and I don't worry about getting them wet at all.

I've heard of umbrellas of course :-))).......but carrying one and using a camera is too much trouble.

I rely on a waterproof coat and a wide brimmed hat. Also, my Olympus cameras and most of the lenses I use are weatherproof and I don't worry about getting them wet at all.

;-) Ehrlich gesagt, ich laufe auch eher nicht gern mit einem Schirm. Wenn es nicht zu sehr regnet setze ich lieber eine Mütze auf. ;-)

The other reason I nearly always wear a hat is that I have to use hearing aids and I don't want to get them wet..!!

Solche alten Friedhöfe sind so stimmungsvoll und eine Fundgrube für uns Fotografen.
Gut, dass du den Regen im Titel erwähnst, sonst hätte ich ihn vermutlich übersehen. In der Großansicht erkennt man das Zusammenspiel des schönen Lichts und dem Regen.
Auch die beiden PiPs mit den verwitterten Steinen finde ich sehr gut!
