Sycamore......Seed Pods

We have a huge Sycamore tree in our garden and now Autumn is approaching, I'm starting to find lots of these seed pods. If we don't pick them up we'll have dozens of seedling trees in the spring!

Taken indoors in my studio (well........on my tabletop anyway) :-))

Thank you so much Herb......much appreciated.

We try and clear up the seed heads before they get a chance to germinate, but it's a losing battle most of the time!

In meinem Garten hasse ich sie, weil ich im nächsten Frühjahr wieder tausend kleine Bäume ausreißen muss. Aber als Fotomotiv sind sie wirklich schön, besonders in der Art und Weise wie du sie präsentierst!

Likewise......my sycamore tree is around 80ft high, so you can imagine how many we get in the garden. I always save a couple to photograph, but the rest go to be recycled..!!
