Oyster Shell and Barnacles (+PiP)
On my walk last Tuesday, I ventured on to a beach as the tide was receding and discovered this old and empty oyster shell covered in barnacles. I thought it was very photogenic and put it up on a wall to take a couple of shots. The "ghostly" sailing boats made a good background, I thought.

What a fabulous subject Keith, I love it! Your main shot with the ghostly sailing boats is superb and I also like the wall you have placed it on. The colours and textures are lovely. The detail in your PiP is fascinating.....I could look at it for ages :-))

Thank you Rosa............the little bit of beach is actually under the road bridge that runs from Havant to Hayling Island..........and it's only because the tide was going out that I was able to explore it.
