This was taken up on Portsdown Hill, which is a chalk ridge that overlooks Portsmouth, Hampshire. There are quite a few viewpoints, picnic areas and quiet seating areas around.

I don't know why, but I would be tempted to sit on the stone! A lovely shot Keith with beautiful detail of the grasses.

I can confirm that the stone is much more comfortable than the bench to sit on (except for the lack of a back rest).
