Taken on a recent trip to Devon - this one was growing wild. To be honest I shot this more for the bokeh than the flowers.

Wow! I love this with the bokeh background Keith! I am usually looking at pink hollyhocks across the road in my neighbour's garden, but I have just looked out of the window and they have all blown over! A beautiful light through the pink petals in your very pretty picture.

Leider haben meine Stockrosen die letzten heißen Sommer nicht überstanden. Im nächsten Jahr will ich wieder neue aussähen.

Mine all looking a bit sorry for themselves at the moment - they've taken a bit of a battering from the heavy winds and the rain we've had lately. I'm probably going to move them to a more sheltered bit of the garden for next year.
