During a walk along the pebbled beach at Langstone Harbour, Hampshire I found this small pebble with a fossil on it. I thought it was worth taking home to photograph. Please view large for the best detail. The PiP shows the same stone next to a measuring tape for scale.

I'd been sitting in the café at WWT Arundel watching this gull trying to pick up that ;are pebble without success. It must have tried a dozen times or more before it gave up. I think it's best viewed large. Thanks for looking and have an enjoyable day.

I found this in the grass whilst on a walk in Exmouth, Devon.................I have no idea why it was there, but I thought I'd take a quick photo.

This was taken up on Portsdown Hill, which is a chalk ridge that overlooks Portsmouth, Hampshire. There are quite a few viewpoints, picnic areas and quiet seating areas around.

I probably walk past the War Memorial in my home town 4 or 5 times a week. Last Saturday I noticed that someone had painted a stone and left in on the steps of the memorial. It looks like it's been there some time so I thought it deserved to have it's photo taken :-)
