Grotty Graffiti (+2 x PiPs)

Grotty Graffiti (+2 x PiPs)
Portsmouth and Southsea has some lovely parks and flower gardens, but like any other big city it also has some less attractive areas. One of which I found yesterday whilst exploring.

I think some of the artwork was originally quite attractive...........but it's been spoiled over time by the application of mindless graffiti, neglect, dumping rubbish and other unsavoury things. I didn't hang around here too long...............I had to be careful where I was standing and the smell was quite unpleasant :-(

On the plus side it made for some interesting photos.............I think so anyway..!!

Berny, Ulrich John, Stephan Fey, Jean Paul Capdeville and 13 other people have particularly liked this photo

I think it's pretty subjective Eunice..............one person's art is another's graffiti and vice versa. Some people see both at vandalism.

I like it if it's done properly in an appropriate place...........but I\m not a fan of midless "tagging" and pointless scribbling..!!

In einem Teil der Grafitis erkennt man Talent, der Rest ist Farbverschwendung.
