As I just said to trester88 above, I suspect it just took off in a panic when all the Starlings flew up into the air! They probably gave it a bit of a fright!

This is a nature reserve right next to the sea............and there are thousands of gulls around Fred. A great place for bird-spotting and walking. There are also cattle on the land.
