Another one from Hayling Island at the Stoke Fruit Farm sunflower fields - I was looking for something a little different from the usual sunflower images.

Leon_Vienna, Eric Marchand, Jean Paul Capdeville, Fred Fouarge and 24 other people have particularly liked this photo

Like the trail of a very precise tornado through a forest of sunflowers...

Nice find Keith, reminds me of a 1960s US horror film (The name eludes me), terrific sky as well.

Amended 11th Aug, I think a Jack Nicholson Film in a field of maize.

Mesmerising quantity of sunflowers and a superb capture of what I assume is a tractor access Keith, a great sky to top off a fabulous image.

Thanks Roger..............they harvest the sunflowers eventually for the seeds to sell, but also to make paths for people to walk along. You have to pay to go in and everyone can pick 6 sunflowers to take away with them. It's well organised and there are catering facilities. They also do special days for Pro Photoshoots with models etc (for a price) - but non-commercial photography is OK.

Thank you so much Jean Paul. I took lots of photos, but they were all fairly similar and I wanted something different..........as soon as I saw this trail with the flattened and dried stems on on the ground I knew I had found it. Glad you like it too.
