The blue colour is actually green lichen on the fence - it was using the inbuilt art filter in my camera that changed the colour to blue, which I thought was very effective.

Thanks very much everyone for all your kind and generous comments/yellow stars. I'm really pleased you like this one. The camera I used has been lurking in the back of a cupboard for 2 years or so and I've decided to to drag it out and use it a bit more.

I can't take much credit for the processing - most of it was done as a result of using the art filter in camera. I've never used them before, but they seem great fun :-)

ton abri de jardin est une oeuvre d'art, keith. Il faut que tu le prpose au musée le plus proche. J'aime beaucoup ce travail.En équivalent pictural je pense à Magriite et à Jerome Bosch .On peut imaginer une recherche sur le thème de l'arbre sur fond de "veines" de bois. J'imagine aussi divers personnages.(Je n'ai rien fumé mais certaines images me parlent) L'arbre développerait ses feuilles vers la droite, c'est l'avenir, c'est une oeuvre optimiste.... J'ai compris, tu vends tes oeuvres en déclarant que ce sont des fragments de ton abri de jardin. pour ne pas payer d'impôts, c'est assez malin. amicalement. Jean paul

Ha, ha.............the garden shed has been demolished, this is part of the fence that was hidden behind it. I wish I was as clever as you think I am............I just photograph what I like :-)

This is wonderful. And don't let the fact that you used a built in art filter detract from your accomplishment. All the pieces of the puzzle towards our photographs are tools that are good or bad depending on how the photographer uses them - you found just the right tool for just the right subject -that is an accomplishment.

You've created a very beautiful photograph - I love how the vine looks like a tree, it plays into the fact that it's on wood.
