This is part of the Esso Oil Refinery at Fawley in the New Forest, Hampshire. Taken over Calshot Marshes.

Something a bit different today. I spotted this mannequin in the extremely dirty window of a shop in Southsea and liked the way the reflections in the window gave it a sort of double exposure effect. I thought I might be able to make something of it so grabbed a shot. A bit of jiggery pokery in post processing gave me this. Please view large, on black.

Four images tonight I'm afraid. These were taken yesterday from Hayling Island looking over towards Eastney at various times during sunset and just afterwards. This will be my last post for a few days.........I'm off to Exmouth again for a pre-Christmas visit to my daughter and our grandchildren.

Whist driving home from Chichester after a late lunch, I noticed the possibility of a decent sunset and made a mad dash to Hayling Island arriving about 10 mins before the main event. As it turned out, the sunset was not particularly spectacular, but as I had made the effort I stayed and took a few shots. The view is of the old Royal Naval Fraser Gunnery Range at Eastney - where a lot of building work is in progress.
