Taken yesterday afternoon during a "mystery tour" in the South Downs National Park. A lovely sunny day and remarkably warm for the time of year. Better viewed large, I think.

Taken this afternoon in the Forest of Bere, Hampshire. This beech tree was actually adjacent to the car park and was the only one with any decent colour. It was a pleasant walk though.........and there is a mobile coffee stall in the car park which also does cakes! I might have indulged myself ;-)
