Impressive colours and light.

Keith, this is a wonderful picture and I'm so glad you dug it out of your archives! Sometimes it's really nice to have nothing current to share because it gives us the excuse to dig through our older folders and often discover countless gems we'd completely forgotten about, and yet, deserve to be put in the limelight.

This is a perfect example. I adore light houses!! They are so varied in shape, from the classic to something like this, which I find totally unique and wonderful. I love the nicely-kept white buildings and the cool grating around the light itself. Your composition and leading line are super--it's nice to have done that so many times that it is a natural process, isn't it? And also, the bright, sunny day with a lovely sky, contrasting with the varied-color vegetation, is perfect.

It's true that we have an itch to capture new images, and this becomes impossible to ignore, but for now, how nice that you can bring out some wonderful pictures and delight yourself in the process. :)
