Whatever, a thoroughly enjoyable and nostalgic shot!
I remember travelling to the South of France for the first time, aged 13, with suitcases in this style and of this age (already many decades out of date; my parents hadn't travelled much for many years and the ones I was given were my grandparents') and being hugely embarrassed on the train, at the airport and on meeting my school French exchange partners' parents for the first time with these cases which they stowed in the car (without a comment I might add - they were too polite to appear to notice)!
At 13 you can get very embarrassed too easily by such things! I soon got over it with a wonderful and eye-opening holiday!
