Saw the tower on the news the other day. Kinda think it ruins the beachfront, though it IS a cool construction and offers amazing views. Great shot of the whole affair though, and I'm surprised the beach is so empty on such a lovely day.

I've not been close up to the tower yet - and I certainly won't be going up in it (I don't do heights very well), but I'll try for some more pics once the novelty wears off and the crowds go down.

I thought that about the beach, It was a Friday and the town and pier were wall-to-wall people!
