A marvellous view for any time of the year Keith, but especially for October.
I last went to the New Forest some 20 years ago and l never saw a single train all day, so I've never been back since ;-)

Thanks Neil. You should make the effort to visit again........trains run right through the Forest now - but not steam ones unfortunately :)
