This is a Turkey Vulture I saw the other day. He looks pretty happy flying like a vulture, but I couldn't find a song for that. ;)

I think he slept all night in this tree and was just waking up and having his morning coffee when I arrived. ;)

Thank you, Carol. It was such a beautiful and hot day and the morning was so nice...

This was such a popular album that summer of '76. Glad you enjoyed it. :)

A beautiful scene beautifully photographed. Love the blue tones and love the musical match. An all-time classic and one of my all-time faves. I have a 'Best Of' Steve Miller Band cd that I play in the car...often :-) Thanks so very much for posting to 'Sight and Sound', Karen.

I thought "Surely somebody has written about this marvelous bird." Here it is: genius.com/Kat-white-turkey-vulture-song-lyrics
They wouldn't let me listen to the whole song without subscribing to Apple Music.
There are still turkey vultures here in Mississippi in mid June. I think they would have normally all gone north before now.
