Many of us are Linda Ronstadt fans so here is another one from her that might be her first Spanish song we have featured in this group.

This song is about a young woman in love and it is set in a church yard where she is rejected by her love. I am imagining there was a little pool there and under the sad moonlight the lilies shone blood red for the young woman's broken heart (I'm getting dramatic here.) I think my photo is sort of sad looking and this is a sad song so there is my tenuous link (and I'm stickin' to it ;)

Hmm... Selected color makes the shot interesting. But... Have you tried enhancing the colors, and something like "tilt-shift-effect", which could work nicely on this one ;-)

It's an old and not very good photo, Sami so I probably won't try much else with it. I have tried that "tilt-shift-effect on a couple photos before and I can't really tell what it's supposed to do. Can you recommend a good site to try it on? Thank you!

Inspired and inspirational work. So beautiful and an instant fave for me. Yes, I very much like the thinking behind the musical link and I could see this as the opening scene to a movie. Shall I give Martin Scorsese a call for you? :-) In my opinion a link to Linda's music can never be considered to be tenuous and after all you, me and Mick are in charge here :-) Thanks also for the super link to 'Latin Music USA'. For some inexplicable reason I don't have "Más canciones" or "Canciones de mi Padre". A search of Amazon is required methinks :-) Thanks so much for posting to 'Sight and Sound', Karen.

Oh, that's right, we are in charge here. That opens up a world of possibilities! Well, I reckon you better add these 2 fine albums to your collection. I think you will like them very much. She sends chills down my spine with her Spanish voice.
