Francie was created by Mattel in 1966. I think it is a little unusual that they created a doll with such long legs, since at the time the average height for American women was probably around 5 foot 2 or so. Proportionately Francie would be more like 6 feet tall, at least that what it looks like to me, which would be more like the fashion model Veruschka who was very tall for that time. Of course now everyone seems to be getting much taller.

Anyway, I don't know how you can resist her gorgeous brown eyes Jon, but I do appreciate you appreciating some parts of her and my set up. I always appreciate your input and help.

The dolls are so enjoyable for me to photograph. I hear those super models can be pretty temperamental, but if I ever get the chance I'll be sure and let you know. ;)
