The carrot harvest begins


My carrot patch is about two metres long and maybe a metre wide. Not very big. I have pulled my first two carrots from the patch and they were both big. Together they weighed about 650g, uhh just under a pound and a half. And they were delicious.
I don't think you can say my pride is overweening. But I like to ween myself a good root gardener.
