Staring at some birds

David and I have been friends for practically all our lives. We met in Kindergarten in 1957 and have been good friends ever since. These days we often go for walks, most often with our wives and other friends.
Today six of us and David's dog walked along a river we used to swim in nearly fifty years ago. It has changed somewhat.
We stopped at this spot to watch some chickadees bouncing around in the trees over our heads.
