Not a fish soup

Looking at this picture makes me think of a delicious fish soup. Ahh, but it was just a jellyfish, marooned on a beach at low tide and waiting for the next high tide to wash it back. This time of the year, mid-September, the salt water is pretty warm and there are lots of these guys. This one was about 30 cm across, lying as he was on the beach.
