Crow

We have a family of about five crows this year. They are getting used to us, slowly; more so to my wife than to me.
The crows we feed are politer than the bluejays. They both come for peanuts. The jays come in a frenzy that the crows stand off at the sight of. The crows, in their turn, politely wait for each one to take their share. Usually that's three or four nuts -- they have a lot of space inside those mouths and crop.
