Begonia stamens

Outside in the late afternoon heat, drinking my second beer, I noticed

this begonia flower next to my head, hanging from a basket. Its

stamens seemed pretty notable. So I got the right lens for the task,

one I hardly ever use because I don't do a lot of this sort of macro

stuff, and I took its picture. It's not a bad lens and I'm glad to

have it. These stamens are about a cm across, so this is pretty

close. Handheld, too; not bad for during the second beer.
