New Year's Eve, looking east for fifteen seconds

A couple of hours before midnight on New Year's Eve, this was the
view from our deck in Ganny Cove, looking east towards St. John's.
This was a thirty-second exposure (because that time is easy with the
X100), but I covered the lens with my wallet for half that time. The
yellow glow is from the city, about 75 km away.
